I like to cook using what is fresh, in season and handy, so I rarely use recipes except for general inspiration. I know that cooking without a recipe is pretty scary to some people, as it was to me for a long time, so I decided to start cataloging some of my go-to formulas for making dinner out of whatever I have on hand. These formulas are extremely simple, but they are a great help in producing something tasty, pretty, and nutritionally balanced out of whatever you have in your fridge. Feel free to modify any of these as much as you like–they are just rough guidelines to get you started.
